Times Now report: Deepika Padukone asked for ‘hash’ from KWAN employee Karishma

According to Times Now, the popular actress is likely to be summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau

They had promised to reveal alleged involvement of Bollywood stars in the drug angle being explored by the Narcotics Control Bureau. After revealing the names of Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, designer Simone Khambatta, Times Now [news channel] has made an explosive claim that popular actress Deepika Padukone is into drug consumption. Times Now has accessed 2017 Whats App conversation allegedly involving Deepika Padukone, and talent management company KWAN employees Jaya Saha and one Karishma.

Jaya Saha has already been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation and Narcotics Control Bureau in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Saha’s name had figured in the leaked Whats App chats of Rhea Chakraborty. Saha is alleged to have told Chakraborty to administer CBD [Cannabidiol] to Rajput.

According to Times Now, Padukone was having a chat with Karishma and Jaya over procuring hash [cannabis] for consumption. As per the chats shared by Times Now, Padukone is said to have told Karishma that she wants hash and not weed. There is also mention of one Amit and a person called Shal, some say it could be her stylist Shaleena Nathani.

The channel claimed that Padukone is expected to be summoned by the NCB this week. When the first set of names were revealed by Times Now, the NCB had denied having any Bollywood list and they were initially chasing drug peddlers.
