The family lawyer of Sushant Singh Rajput claims that in a chat with him, a AIIMS doctor told him that the late actor was strangulated and didn’t commit suicide

In a stunning claim, Advocate Vikas Singh wants the murder charge to be included in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Rather bizarrely, the advocate has now expressed his frustration with the Central Bureau of Investigation in converting the ‘abetment to suicide’ charge into a murder charge after the forensic report by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Singh claimed that one of the forensic experts from the AIIMS team told him that Rajput perhaps was strangulated. According to Singh, the doctor backed his claim based on the photo of the body thatt he had shared with him/her.
“Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to Murder of SSR. The Doctor who is part of AIIMS team had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200% that it’s death by strangulation and not suicide,” Singh tweeted.
Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on 14 June. Late July, Rajput’s father had filed FIL in a Bihar police station accusing his son’sgirl friend Rhea Chakraborty, her family of fraud and abetting his son’s suicide. The Supreme Court had transferred the case from Mumbai police to CBI. With the drug angle emerging in the probe, the Narcotics Control Bureau has now taken centrestage.
