There is great drama in Mumbai as Rakul Preet Singh hasn’t turned up yet at the Narcotics Control Bureau office. Reportedly, the actress has denied receiving any notice from the NCB. Citing NCN sources, Republic TV claimed that the actress is trying to dodge the NCB by not revealing her whereabouts – Mumbai or Hyderabad.

In the absence of clarity over her whereabouts, the NCB is said to have issued her a summon digitally on her Whats App number. The blue tick to the particular message is seen a sign of acknowledgment from the one summoned. The NCB is likely to send her another reminder, but if the actress doesn’t cooperate than it may issues a Non Bailable Warrant against her.

While Rakul Preet hasn’t turned up yet, designer Simone Khambatta arrived on time at the NCB office today. It has been more than 90 minutes, since Khambatta is being grilled by the NCB officials.

Meanhwhile, Deepika Padukone, who has also been summoned by the NCB, is expected to arrive in Mumbai later today. Padukone is likely to be summoned on 25 September. Shraddha Kapoor Sara Ali Khan are other actors who all have received summons by the NCB.

In her interrogation, main accused Rhea Chakraborty is said to have named the above actors and Khambatta as people whom she supplied drugs. Chakraborty will be moving the Bombay High Court today to seek bail. A Special Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 had rejected Chakraborty’s bail plea and extended her judicial custody to 6 October.
