An employee of Karan Johar’s production house will be questioned by NCB. Is the interrogation related to the controversial party held at Karan Johar’s residence in 2019?

The drug probe by NCB has now reached the corridors of Karan Johar’s Dharma Production. As reported by Republic TV, Kshitij Ravi Prasad, Executive Producer at Dharma Productions has been summoned by Narcotics Control Bureau at 11.00 am on 25 September. Prasad is currently in Delhi. The NCB is said to have raided his residence [in Mumbai].
This interrogation is likely to be in connection with the controversial 2019 party held at Karan Johar’s residence. A video of the party had surfaced wherein a white powder-like substance was seen on the table, with actor Vicky Kaushal sitting close to the table. It was dismissed as a reflection of tube light. Bollywood A-listers like Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora were among those who had attended the party.
Former MLA Manjider Singh Sirsa of the Shiromani Akali Dal had alleged that this was a drug party organised by Johar. Sirsa has written to the NCB demanding a detailed probe into the matter.
