Rhea Chakraborty has gone absconding after the Bihar police lodged an FIR against her. With the Supreme Court turning down her request for protection, Chakraborty faces imminent arrest. Buzz has it that after Chakraborty has returned to her residence at Santacruz West, Mumbai. The Enforcement Directorate had issued summons to Chakraborty over fears of Sushant Singh Rajput’s money being used for money laundering into any nefarious activities. Chakraborty has been ordered to appear before the ED office in Mumbai on 7 August.
Efforts to reach out Chakraborty’s business manager yielded no response. In an exclusive video message to Zee News earlier, Chakraborty had expressed faith in the judiciary and that justice shall prevail.
Chakraborty and her family have been absconding after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father had filed a FIR accusing the Chakraborty of fraud and driving his son to suicide. There is buzz that Enforcement Directorate could issue an arrest warrant against her tomorrow.
