Dil Bechara lead artistes Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjana Sanghi bonded over academics

Rajput had penned an encouraging note for Sanghi after the latter received a Gold medal in Political Science from Delhi University

Fans are eagerly awaiting for Fox Star Studios’ Dil Bechara [2020] that is set to be released on 24 July on Disney Hotstar. The film is likely to be received well as it is the last film of Sushant Singh Rajput (34) who passed away on 14 June. It’s going to be an emotional period for the film maker’s, artistes with promotions likely to be nostalgic in nature.

First-time actress Sanjana Sanghi has paid rich tribute to Rajput. The Delhi woman has revealed how Rajput and her bonded over academics.

While he had quit his engineering to purse celluloid dreams, but it’s no secret that Rajput was brilliant in academics, and he was particularly fond of astrophysics. Sanghi is a Delhi university topper in Mass Communication and studied political science. It was all but natural for the duo to gel over academics.

Sushant and Sanjana used to indulge in long conversations about books and philosophical knowledge. During the shoot of Dil Bechara, Sushant used to take out some time to guide and encourage his co-star Sanghi.

One day, Sanghi, Rajput and her director Mukesh Chhabra were gorging over food when Sanghi received a great news from her father.

“My father had sent a text message saying we got a letter about me becoming a Gold Medalist in Political Science at Delhi University. Sushant, Mukesh and the whole team were ecstatic to hear this news too. Later, I received the kindest note from him. I still have tucked firmly in my drawer,” Sanghi said in a statement.

Dil Bechara is the official remake of Hollywood film The Fault in Our Stars [2014[ that was based on the John Green’s novel of the same title.
