Ayushmann Khurrana: I have always considered real people as the heroes of my films

The actor, who is in red hot form, lays emphasis on playing grounded characters again, has three releases lined up for 2020

Ayushmann Khurrana is the face of content cinema today. In 2019, he has already delivered two super hits with Article 15 and Dream Girl and has another movie, Bala, coming up for release in November. Ayushmann will have no breathing space as his 2020 looks just as exciting! He says he will again have 3 films releasing next year and we can’t be more excited. Ayushmann will be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo and Anand L. Rai’s Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhaan and he reveals that there will one more unannounced project that will be up for release.

“It’s looking like a hectic but good 2020. I will have at least 3 films releasing again and I can’t wait to show audiences the diverseness of these projects. Each one of these three films have a strong script and the stories are remarkable different,” he reveals.

Ayushmann’s 2020 will see him again handpick the best content and present real people as the heroes of his projects. He will celebrate the real people through his work because it is their lives that inspire him the most creatively.

“I have always considered real people as the heroes of my films and their lives, circumstances have inspired me to tell their stories on screen. Next year will be no different. Along with these releases, I will have several new exciting announcements to share and I will start filming them too. So, I can’t wait for 2020 – it will be my busiest year in cinema,” said Khurrana.

The actor will next be seen in Maddock Films’ Bala that is set to be released in November, 2019. Recently, the actor had revealed that he was a taking a break from work to spend more time with his family.
